Hello today, My fiance and I run a Jewelry and Coin shop in Vernon Indiana. A friend and customer brought in this coin and was wanting to know if it is real. We are not experts in coins and usually only deal in American coins. I figure I would ask all of you if you think it is real. This one and the ones on ebay look just alike except the flowers on the one our friend has is much clearer and dont seem to spin like the ones on ebay. Please help us out as our friend would like to know if he has the real thing or not. Thank you

Sorry, your coin is a fake. By design, and even more by its weight (it should be around 27g)

Thank you, that was what we needed to know. Is it worth anything as a counterfeit? I know some people collect counterfeits.

IMO It's a modern tourist replica, and they are mass produced. Not really desirable as a contemporary counterfeit, I don't think it'd sell for more than a couple of bucks.
