Ok I'm new to the forum although I do come here often for info on error coins. I opened a roll of uncirculated world 2006 d and 3/4 of the roll looks doubled, but I am not possitive. I havnt been able to locate any information on this date nickel being double die. I don't know if its because they are not valuable or their is none.? http://api10.webresizer.com/resizer...jpg&type=jpg

Under the motto at "GOD WE", I see evidence that is die is aging. So I think what you are looking at is die wear. Note around the 200 in the date, the width/height of these devices. They normally taper like this to allow the coin not to stick to the die after the strike. On your last image I'm not seeing anything different there. But congratulations on getting your images to the board. It is always best to rotate your images to show what you are looking at horizontally. It is harder for the eye to see what your seeing in the image when it is not horizontal.

Thanks I appreciate your help. Theses die varieties are always confusing to me. When they are lifted like that, and the die is on top of it. Always want it to mistake as a DDO. Back to my searching. Again I appreciate your expertise. :)

Hey kurdlezuit, I just saw your post and sorry to others for zombie-ing it but I thought I'd point you to my post on this same coin https://goccf.com/t/89841. I have 3 of them like that and each has the same markings except the gash on the 'U' in TRUST and I have been wondering still about them.

L. I think about those nickels all the time. I just set them aside in a box,you know just in case. Haha. I trust coops opinions, his knowledge and skills on coins 100 percent, but I just cant set them free just yet. Maybe one day I will get the courage up to do the humane thing, and just let them be free. Lol
