I am not familiar with ebay rules. I bought 10 items cheap, the seller said he would combine shipping ,which he took 1 off. At $2 per coin and $20 to ship,he sent me a invoice for $20 plus $103 to ship, total $123. Can I back out of this rip off deal.

You should post a link to sellers items so we can give an informed answer.

Did the ebay seller include information in his listings that shipping would be combined? Or was he specific in his message to you (which I'm assuming was through ebay's messaging system) about how shipping would be combined? If he wasn't specific, and you didn't ask then you may not be able to back out as easily. What was the shipping price listed as for a single coin? Were the coins listed at $2 plus $11.44 shipping? Unless it's an international seller, I'd say that should be a clue that it's going to be a ripoff.

It's against the rules to profit off shipping charges as a buyer. This is clearly pushing it. Jesus...it's not going to cost $100+ to ship 20 coins.
Ask to cancel the transaction, worst comes to worst you can just not pay.

I would post a link if I knew how, I do not think I could from home let alone from my phone. His shipping prices ranged from $9 to $20, different for each item. He said he would combine shipping in a message not in the listing. His feedback was 95% ,3 negative, a buyer beware ,and not received.

Just copy the URL from the address bar (starts with http:// or http://www.) and paste it into your reply.

Tell him you have a friend in Winnipeg who will pick up or he should get real with the shipping, or you will give him 10 negatives.

I see no mention of combined shipping so unless you have a message from him sent through ebay offering it you might be stuck. All you can do is try to work something out with the seller. That said, everything about this seller says RUN AWAY! Low rating, negative feedback, only ships to Canada but wants to be paid in American funds - and has an outrageous shipping policy, ridiculously expensive and no returns allowed.

Best case you get a Cancel Transaction and you both walk away. Worst case you get an Item Not Paid against you and he gets negative feedback. No big deal.

Bill if you need someone in winnipeg to pick them up for you I would be happy to assist... $20 to ship one token is crazy!
If that doesn't, work I suggest you don't pay and cancel the transaction it's just not worth it

Why even bid when you see an outrageous shipping charge? Sometimes buyers are dumber than sellers are greedy! When terms are clearly stated stay away!

^The buyer contacted the seller and was told that he would combine shipping.
In future you should ask specific questions like how much the combined shipping would come to for x number of items. This would help avoid issues like this in the future.
