What do you think the most PCGS would put on this coin? Does it stand a remote shot at high MS or is there too much surface chatter and all I have is a good looking nickel not worth sending in?

I'd say at best mid-AU. Cool coin though. Looks like it has a reeded edge :-)

Yeah the chatter wouldn't take it out of MS range, wear would, which unfortunately this does have some

Nice toning. I think the "reeded edge" is just the background remaining when the photo was cropped.
