If the dealer is an ANA or PNG member they have codes of ethics to follow and they will stand behind their merchandise.

This may well be interesting. Your not even sure they are fakes. So the dealer may ask you how do you know they are fakes? What will you say? How can you prove fake or real? And if real, why are you questioning them? This could be your word against his and he may just say you don't know what your talking about so then what?

They all look OK to me. What's your concern, these coins are all very circulated. Plus, the price was good. I'd go get more.

Some of the '79-CC Capped Die reverses have the filled G you see on the Morgan here... however I am not aware of any 1900 plain VAM's that have the filled G, and the 9 in the date looks... off. I'd call that one questionable. See if you can VAM it, should be easy enough given the filled G, if not, I'd consider it a fake.

The date on the Morgan looks very crude to me as well, so I would question that one. Also, it looks like one of those "thick" Morgan fakes that have entered the market. Could you post a picture of the edge of the coin? I think the Chinese coin is possibly fake too. It just has that look, but I can't say for sure. I do think the 1911 dollar has the best chance of being authentic.

It's really simple.. take the coins back to the dealer... tell them you suspect they're fake and you would like your money back....

If the dealer is worth their salt.. they will take the coins back !! If they give you any sort of resistance chances are they're not going to want it...

(On a side note I really can't blame them either... you could easily buy a legit coin from a dealer and at home swap it with the fake ... take the fake back and demand a refund...)
