I have been looking to purchase a Reference Book on Early Dimes. Both on E-bay and Amazon they sell for around $300 plus and on other sites price ranges from $200 to over $400.

What is the fair price for this book?
Has someone published another book or made a reprint?

I am unaware of another book that covers this series or even a reprint.

Like you, I found one dealer with a copy priced at $200 and another with it priced at $275. On ebay there is a copy with a $275/Or Best Offer.

Westcoin may have a better answer as to a fair price for this book.

There was one book listed in Fred Lakes auction Tuesday night, I missed getting my bids in - dang it, had the auction listed incorrectly on my iPhone calendar, so I missed out on a bunch of stuff. It was lot C41 in a few days we will be able to see what it sold for when he publishes the prices realized. The Davis, Logan, McCluskey (JRS) book is the best one I am aware of. It regularly sells for around $250-350 on ebay or other sites. Fred's auctions usually have some good deals.

Bought it at $215 plus shipping. Thank you both for the information.

Not a bad price, as the copy in Fred Lake's sale ended at $210 + 15% and shipping costs, so did just fine on an excellent reference book!

After going over the bids I had planned to submit, I would have only won about 4 out of 30 items, prices went pretty high at Fred's latest sale (good for him, and the numismatic book market). A few didn't get bids at all, but most were over double my planned bids, oh well the next auctions up are Kolbe & Fanning and David Sklow, maybe I will do okay at those sales.
