This is a fun set I completed Philadelphia today still need the other mints.

Any Comments, Opinions and Suggestions always welcome...

For those that are not familiar

Light Motto

The first obverse hub of 1934 Light Motto
The letters look like mush

Medium Motto

The Second obverse hub of 1934 Medium Motto
The letter look normal but the top of the verex in w is below or level with side one in the W in "WE"

Strong Motto
The Third obverse hub of 1934 Strong Motto
the Strong middle vertex /\ of the letter W in "WE" projects above the left and right strokes.

I'm new to coin collecting and I think it is amazing how many different areas there are to coin collecting. Thank you for sharing about the difference in mottos for these quarters. Best of luck completing the other mints!

Thank you for that info as well.. I have always had a hard time understanding how to spot the difference but now that I understand the markers for identification it will make it much easier. Good thing because I have about a roll of circulated 34's to go through that need to be attributed correctly. Mind if I add the pics to my reference library?

Looks like die state is not considered. The first one looks like a VLDS, the second one EDS and the third MDS. But the thing with the "W", I'm not sure why it is different. The first one could just be extreme die wear. The second one is from a fresh die and looks like the shorter "W". The third one shows the taller "W". This is the first time this is brought up. So I will have to do a little research on this anomoly.
