1956-D Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Help Please

jprine Pillar of the Community United States 1599 Posts	Posted 09/13/2014 9:34 pm I need some help with this one. The eye clearly suggests a DDO, but which one. The T in cent suggest an 001, however, the eye looks more like a more like an 005. I think I can also see the markers for the 005 between and above the TR in trust, but not the the reverse marker on the right wheat. I'm lost, any help would be appreciated! Thanks! An image of the date and mint mark to show closer up might help with an overlay. But It looks correct to me. CONECA: 1956-D DDO-006, 6-O-IV Description: Strong spread South on eyelid. I got your link for 006, but cannot get there via my own search. Am I missing somehow to expand the page or what? Before your post and link, I never saw an 006 so I thought 5 was all there was.
