1993 Major Unlisted Doubled Die Reverse / DDR Or Heavy Die Scratches?

CoinCollector2000 Pillar of the Community United States 2563 Posts	Posted 09/13/2014 9:59 pm So I've been looking through the coins I received from my family member, I've found a few goodies and I plan to show them all at the end, and I found this coin. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/14/2014 4:54 pm The mark in the third bay is from a previous die clash. So die polishing was used to remove the clash and the lines you are seeing are part of that removal. The 11th bay (Last one) is showing part of the design of the die that was not polished off, showing a partial column which was there on the die when it was fresh.
