It is cool that you found a
Indian Head cent in change.
Just wanting to give a honest opinion.
Your coin looks clean, if you did not know, you should not clean
your coins.
It also has a hit on the obverse (near the A in AMERICA)
The hit and the the condition will impact the value of this coin.
Most coin shop I been to would pay .30 to .50 cents for this coin.
And try to sell it in their bulk bin for .80 to $1.00
If they placed it in a holder (2X2) and then into a display case, they might
try to sell it for $2.00 or $3.00.
IMO -
Indian Head cents are a good series to collect. Many of the common dates can be bought for a good price. There are a few that will hit your pocket a little harder. Those from the 1870's and the 1909 S, 1908 S mints,
would be some of those. You could say all the cents before 1879 cost more.
Edit ... After reading what I posted I wanted to add, not trying to be negative
Just wanted to give my opinion on you coin.
It really is great finding a
Indian Head cent in circulation
