The loop on the 9 is extra fat, also, at the end of the loop of the 9, it looks to have a serif, that appears to wrap around the the the edge of the outside hump. Also appears to have a small die crack inside the loop. Any thoughts? There isn't any listings on a DDO on this mint year. Also I'm not that lucky to find a new DDO variety L.

Picture #2 shows plenty of evidence of the die being polished.
That would also be the source of what you call a die crack.

As for the flattening I would go for either PMD or additional damage caused by the reason for the die polishing (die clash?) or a slight slip by the Mint employee who was doing the polishing.

Picture #6 shows how that (serif)? Or damage wraps around and upward. I know little but am learning. Wouldn't that be difficult for a PMD?

Hard to tell from the images, but it looks like it might be a die crack? I would keep it safe for now. I don't see anything like this on other resources I have.

Ok. Thanks coop. Would you like me to ship it to you for a closer inspection?

I would wait till coppercoins opens up their attribution services again. Then submit a great image and see what they think before submission. They may agree with me that it is just a crack, or they might want to have a hands on look at your coin. So don't miss place it.
