Has anyone else seen one of these? I don't know how it escaped the Mint but I would like to get an idea what it might be worth. Any Ideas? The "V" shaped crack is to the left of the Tower. It is raised a considerable amount. I took the photo through the plastic box.

to CCF. Are you sure it's not just lint? It's not a die crack and if it's not lint it would be a die scratch,IMHO. No added value,if you can return it do so.

The error - scratched die is raised. I cannot get a good photo of how the shiney proof surface is distorted. And it definately is not lint....

Then it might be a small die gouge. (Very small)

I doubt it's an anomaly of the die.It is not a die crack and most likely is not a die gouge, considering its shape. Likely, it's a small hair on the coin or was struck through a small hair/string.
