It is a Grease Filled Die, and it is a 1992.

This is an example that's worth a modest premium value because of the overall coverage lacking detail. A couple of dollars.

Of interest might be the fact that it can easily be detected as NOT a very weak strike for two reasons...

1. The highest points of the design around the hair and ear are filled in. This would be the LAST place to expect detail in a weak strike.

2. The rim is complete. Almost ALL greasers have a complete rim. Very weak strikes will have a very weak rim or none at all.

I still find it interesting that the only country which produces coins " Struck Through Grease" appears to be the U.S.A.

The US is NOT the only coin that mints Grease Filled Die coins. I have seen a number of them from other countries, especially countries that don't have much in the way of quality control.
