She may not be the most beautiful, but she is all mine :) So what would we grade her? Apologies on the picture quality...I am still working out how to take a high quality picture. So practice makes perfect. Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. Scott

In between VF 30-35. Can't say for certain without having it in hand. Nice coin.

Thanks for the input. So since I am new and learning...What are you seeing that is indicating the coin has been cleaned.
And I am looking at this on my phone right now and the color of the coin is much different than on my pc view. However that is simply part of my learning on taking photos.

That's a White Balance setting, and fairly easily-correctable. The obverse looks to show hairlines running roughly east-west on the coin, a classic sign of a brushing. It won't show in all light, needing to be illuminated from the right direction to contrast the hairlines.

Thanks dave. From the photo forum to this one you are certainly getting me heading the right direction on taking pictures. And thank you to everyone else for taking the time to reply to this thread.

I agree with the "cleaned" statement but this is still pretty. Personally one of my favorite coins so I guess I might be biased!

I'll start off by saying... 1)$1.00 worth of face value 90% silver sells at one of my LCS for $15.00. 2)Those "junk silver" coins are not nearly as "perdy" as yours. 3) I'd give ya $20 for it if you were standing infront of me right now.

On the topic of selling silver by ?x "face value", does this really apply for these silver dollars? There seems to be more silver/$ in face value for silver dollars, in addition they seem to be more collectible than normal "junk" silver. That being said, I too would pay $20 a coin like that.
