To put a value on this cent both sides need to be pictured. This gives a grade that CCF members can judge from the obverse and reverse. Without a clearer photo this is hard to do to give a grade. A 1928 Wheat cent has some value depending upon grade. See if you can provide better photos and add to this post. The CCF members are more than willing to help.

 Just such a normal date and in rather poor condition. So it would only be worth something on ebay. But in the real world, only about $0.10.

It is a damaged common date. It is worth only a few cents.

Yup, better pics both sides. Looks like it might be decent woody and some people pay a few bucks or so for coins like yours (if it is a woody) depending on condition. Lots of folks collect them.

If you show the other side, I'd probably a better idea. Minimum would be 2 cents if sold to a dealer most likely.
