Melt is in the area of $16 currently, but even in that good a shape they are not worth much over $20 for them alone, most likely less. Make sure you get a good accounting of the total silver, and try not to short him too much on that. I tend to agree it looks like mostly junk. What year are the sets? Any silver in them? Plus an Unc Frankie, I am pretty sure that is a silver unc bicentennial set, a circulated silver Washington, like 4 or 5 Mercs....yeah, 75 bucks would be a heck of a deal I think. This is what I had: These pictures don't do the coin justice(the first pic looks silver because of crappy lighting)...she's a real beauty in VF to EF condition (IMHO). Checked the weight: 18.33 Grams. I kinda feel sorry for the guy. But when I was originally asking him about the coins he became kinda hostile when I started asking specifics. At one point he told me he didn't know anything about coins and didn't want to know anything... So I dunno...I guess I don't feel too bad. What do you guys think of my purchase?
