I have several listings on e bay and for some reason the Mercury dimes are selling for cheap. When I compare to sold Mercury dimes from other listings they sell much higher for other sellers. The ones I have had and currently have are Mercury Dimes- dated 1936P,1944D,1944P,1945P but I've had listings with same dates and sold for 13.00 yet other sellers previous listings sells for much higher. Is it this time of year or something I'm doing wrong. I was curious. I'll try to attach pics.

they are of interest but some people think the price should move with silver melt prices..
I been buying several the last few weeks
I noticed some oddity like a 1921-d I got for low price hardly aby competing bids
could also be several on auction same time the more available the less likely for bidding

Those all are common Mercury dimes unless they are in a high grade. I usually pay 1.50 for good ones that are just above junk silver. $4 is the most people will pay in my state for common 40's mercs in XF at a lot of coin shops and flea markets I visit. 1920's and below go for a little bit more but not much. Outside the key, semi-keys, and error coins; the prices are pretty comparable between mercs with a lot of their basic value coming from their silver content. You might be getting lower bids and less interest with silver dropping also. My main expertise and love is in Mercury dimes. Post images of the mercs and maybe a link to some of the ebay sells and I will tell you what you might expect out of them.

Guess that makes sense- I didn't think about others selling at the same time so I didn't check. Thanks!

I don't think I can post listings on here because I don't have enough posts yet as a member. Maybe you can search my ebay?

Things on ebay are very trendy and cyclical, plus silver is way down. You can add an ebay link on your profile page. I'm interested in Mercury dimes. Last year at this time a particular coin was selling all day long for $600. Now they're $400.

You've got about $20 worth of dimes there. No one is going to fork over $64 for them.

Your packaging is a bit on the annoying side and non-appealing.

1. You should show both sides of coins. 2. Unc is to vague today. Redo and use best guess grades like MS-63 or something like that. 3. Redo those 2x2's. Yours are not very nice looking 4. Check prices on other similar dates on ebay, then list yours for about the same. 5. IF any of yours have FSB's, state that. Some people are looking for those.

JimBucks- are you talking about my $4.12 shipping charge? If so, I also combine shipping. Please explain how that's annoying
