I have 3 2014 charlton books that I no longer need as I am getting the 2015 editions.

I dont want to throw the 2014 ones away.
Any suggestions, will local libraries take them?

I dropped off a few brand new books to my local library that were coin catalogs... and while one librarian didn't want them.. the head libriarian was very happy to receive the donation...

I think a library would be happy to receive a few new books... another option would be to go to a local show or coin club and give them to a couple youngsters..

Thank AG, I will go and see them today.

Sorry guys, but actually if you check with Chapters you will
probably be able to get them online for cheaper than what it would cost to ship them....

Put them on ebay. Personally, I'd like someone to sell their old ICCS Population reports they don't need anymore.

I'd say give them to the library.

I just did an on-line search of my local library. They have 1 2014 and 1 2013, both in reference only, so they are of limited use, 2 2012s, 2 2011s and one each 2009 and 2008. I imagine most small-town libraries are the same. With the budget restrictions most libraries are facing nowadays books like Charltons are amongst the first items to be cut.

Already done. I must say they were Happier than I thought they would be to receive them. At least they found a good home.

don't let that stop you, I'll fire up the BBQ, and the beer is on ice

Maybe thats what we should do is have an annual get together.
Same time every year, different city.

Lets start with Hawaii
