Looking for some help on the worth of these pennies, I have appox 5000
brand new, handled maybe a dozen times been in canvas since picked up from the mint in 1963.
I have not looked at all of them, but I have noticed the slight hanging on the "3"
any idea of the worth of the pennies?

thanks in advance

Hey hey, welcome to the forum.

If at all possible, could you post some pictures of the coin in question?

That is sooo cool to have a bag of mint coins from 63..

Why didn't I go to the mint or bank and do that too..?..

You've got to have a fun little 'gold mine' in that bag..Good Show..

Bag hoarding was very big in the early to mid 1960s before the first big coin market crash. Our American cousins were the wise ones and purchased Silver Dollar bags from the US Treasury. Us Canadians on the other hand bought mostly bags of cents and five cents. As to value of your bag a dealer would pay double face or so. We retailed our bag of 1964 cents for $200 plus shipping. You must realize it is incredibly difficult to retail these by the piece !
