It's a new purchase. One picture was in direct sulight and the other is in indirect sunlight to get the toning. The bright spot on the rim looks more like an area that wasn't toned rather than a scratch.

very nice coin.
I must admit that this is not a series I know much about but it looks like a nicely struck coin that still has much of its design elements. I would say high end of fine to low end of extra fine. I would be proud to put it in my 7070. I seldom see better Standing quarters that still look like original surfaces.
