Dug up some not fully attributed coins and among them was the following:

Caracalla-Hadrianopolis-Attribution Caracalla-Hadrianopolis-Attribution

It is clearly a Caracalla from Hadrianopolis (Thrace) but it is not in Sear and the closest I could find is Vorbanov#3496 at Wildwinds. The obverse is identical apart from "AVT" instead of "AVP" but the reverse diverts a bit.
Had a look at the Moushmov listing as well but no help.

Does anyone have an idea of a proper attribution or a source where I could find one online?

Or do I have to leave it as Vorbanov#3496var until I get a chance to dig into BMC or other specialised catalogues again?

The amount of information on Roman Provincial coins of the web is very limited. Wildwinds is probably your best bet, if it's not there that your probably going to have to find someone with a copy of Moushmov or Varbanov.
