this is now in-hand and these are my pics. $45 for this reverse damaged coin. The color is deep and its so lustrous that I wonder is the color legit? Either way, I'll keep it considering the year.

Can you get a close-up of the damage? I'm just wondering because there is a slight possibility that it's a Lamination.

As appreciative as I am of your optimism, its a hard core scratch from a staple. Someone in the past blew it big time handling this coin.
