Well I would say it is the swl variety...it doesn't look to me like those water lines are touching the boat. But that being said I am no canadian coin expert.

MS64 SWL.
Old holder may not mention SWL.

Not sure with it being an older grading would make a difference but I will say MS64 SWL

Looks like a very nice dollar. It's probably a old ICCS MS-64. Also looks like a FWL. If not MS64 then I would lean towards MS65.

grading better grades , behind double plastic, is a crap shoot and just a guess. that said, I conclude with VanIsleKid on the grade.

Put me down for regular waterlines and nice. Cant grade it properly in the holder. Probably a sixty four is an educated guess.

So this coin is graded MS65 in an old holder. Coin is toned and difficult to see here. More interestingly though, after a couple of reviews and some unsuccessful pleading with ICCS, they will not attribute this coin as an SWL. Reason "Lines too long"

What constitutes a short water line? This could start a whole new topic. If no line is touching the canoe, it cannot be be a FWL. If no WL touches the canoe, it is a SWL. If this is not a SWL then what does ICCS grade it as?
