With those pictures, I couldn't even tell the date let alone a mint mark.

The date doesn't even look like it's from the teens. Looks like a 2 in there.

I didnt think it was just me..

I would think for keydate coin people would to be more careful and know look for fakes, etc, scams

WheatBack - your right cant even tell that either

I was just watching some ebay auction for the 1916-d for the next few weeks to do research before I buy one I just hate buying slabs but this might be one coin to stick to 3pg on

Uh, ....0 feedback seller. Poor pictures. Red flags all over the place. The only description is "worn." Should have been WARN.

there are diagnostic points that can determine the die marriage for the 16-D that do not require a clear, clean display of the date or mm. Is this coin in that category? Could be but the pics are so blurry I would want to take a chance.

Buyer claimed it was a 1918. I swear I see a 2 in the picture. Maybe he didn't even send the coin I. The picture?

Yes, I noticed that Dave...I just don't understand all the bidding on a key coin like that when the picture was so bad and at that time he had no feedback at all. Why are bidders that trusting? I'm not!
