1921 P - VAM 3B2 Or Just Damage To Rim?

Hello. Can anyone tell if this is a VAM 3B2, damage to the rim, both, something else, nothing at all?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks to me like a planchet flaw although the image isn't conclusive. It's not 3B - keep in mind there's a patch of pitting above the D on that one.

Thanks for your reply -- I forgot about the pitting. Excellent point. So that rules out the 3B. Planchet flaw is a good guess -- I hadn't thought of that. Sorry about the lousy image. That's about the best I can get. Thanks again.
