*Jokingly*

He raised the interest on Three Cent Nickels here to the point that I can't buy them anymore!

Not someone I would buy from. Too many red flags for me. I tend to avoid people who know very little or worse yet pretend to know very little about what they are selling. Let's count the red flags. (1)Listing the coin as "silver nickel". (2)Citing the opinion of an unnamed "world renound (sic) expert". (3)Confusing Very fine with AU grades. (4)Confusing the condition of the coin with age of the coin - "Condition is excellent for a 122 year old coin." (5)Blurry pictures. (6)Rather low feedback. (7)Selling this expensive and rare coin for "a friend". Seven red flags. $1380 at stake. I begin wonder, and even to suspect stolen goods. Maybe I've gotten risk adverse, but I would never consider bidding.

I was looking at the coin just the other night. Hard to buy a $1000 coin without seeing it in hand IMO.....I won't do it.

Wish I had a Grand plus for a single coin.

If I did, I would probably buy the 1909S VDB Lincoln or the 1916 D Mercury dime.

Well, there's always the lottery. Maybe I should start buying tickets again.
