I have always loved those coins and have accumulated a full set a few times. Just wondering if others are collecting them or not

ME..ME... I collect all Newfoundland coins except Gold, can't afford it. We have complete sets in the .01/20/50 cents, missing some key dates in the .05/10 cents. Love the Newfoundland coins.. Forgot.. the 2 .25 cents too.

I've started collecting a few but I'm putting that aside to pick up a few nice pieces I've been looking at for a bit

I've got maybe a dozen half dollars and a couple of .20 cents. None are in super condition but they are some of my favorites. Liverpool

I collect them too! I'm missing 21...some of them are buggers to get! MS 1947, MS 1938 dime...some of these seem quite scarce!

I bought my first 20 cent piece just the other day, a 1912. I liked the look of it. I've probably got the bug for more too.

Is this because you are not getting trade offers from you post in that section?

artdio there are Newfoundland collectors out there ! Not many but they are there. Not surprisingly most of our better Newfoundland coins sell to Americans for whatever reason. Also world type collectors buy the odd coin. Remember even though we think of the Newfy series as part of the Canadian series it is NOT. More accurately part of the |British Colonial series.

Once I start getting some regular hours again I might hit you up for some 1900-1919 50 cent pieces. I love Maritime stuff and am branching out into Newf too. Right now though I collect what I find in my pocket change.

I just sold my only Newfy this week, a $2 from 1888 graded ICCS AU-55. Fortunately for you collectors, these are getting even cheaper these days.

@ osni... If anything the $ 2.00 gold is going up in price. I remember buying high grade AU and better for in and around the 300 to 600 mark...Now your lucky to find anything nice for less than 800

I see... I didn't really consider long term data while making the above comment, so I stand corrected.
