No collectors I've run into.
I've sold some very high grade ICCS coins to a dealer for 40% of trends (60% off trends price) and I felt lucky to do so.

I see them on ebay and think about getting in to them, but I've never ended up buying any. I think the main reason is that I'm already 'overbooked' my collecting and can't afford another batch to buy. There's still a lot of U.S. coins I haven't started on. If I ever win the lottery I'll start new coin types, but until then I'll reluctantly pass on Newfoundland coins. It's too bad, because I do like them!

I love Newfoundland coins. It's been killing me having to sell mine. As a buyer, though, fewer collectors now means we can pick them up at some pretty good prices before the rest of the world catches on

I've started collecting them recently and I really enjoy them( I picked a few up from you). I started out with a couple high grade gold coins and then picked up some low grade silver locally. If I had the funds, I would love to buy a large variety of different grades in order to better understand grading, and because I just like the coins. Since I don't have the funds to do that, I have been trying to focus on quality examples that I find attractive. My collection is very small, but I am happy with it and will continue to add to it slowly over time.

Just missing five regular coins/varieties and 8 gold $2. Can't afford to add to the gold right now but someday! Also only have 2 Specimen coins so far. That's a set I never expect to complete! My only Belzberg coin is a NFLD 1873 1c PCGS MS63RB.

When I decided to start collecting Maritime decimals, I picked up the 9 NFLD gold first figuring they would be the worst!
In hindsight, the gold seems to be easy to obtain in EF/AU grades, 1880 gold expensive, although but I've seen at least 10 listings on various auctions over the last couple of years. Trying to get a decent grade in some of the other dates is proving more challenging.
Lots of fun searching and trying to keep a balance between funds vs. desire! :)

I collect Newfoundland coins. I don't have very many, but what I do have, I really enjoy.
My first priority is to complete the 1919 set if coins because that's the year my nanny was born.
They are awesome coins and I hope to get more in the future!

I have 15 Newfoundland coins in my collection, some raw, some certified, and in varying grades. I've often thought of trying to acquire more but I know that once I own them I'll be stuck with them for the rest of my life.

I have a modest Newfoundland collection and quite a few extras, all plucked from 'junk' silver sources over the past few years. I never pass them by if the condition is attractive.

NFLD collector here as well. Right now I'm trying to complete my 0.05s (at least, the non-key dates....for now!). Love them all but the 0.01s and 0.20s have a special place in my heart as well.
Would love to get into the $2s as well, but they'll be way out of my coin budget for the foreseeable future. :(
