Hello everyone,

Charlton catalogue is usually great at explaining things. But I just cannot figure out what in the world this means "1986 $5 between 3.560m and 3.960m"

Going through my 1986 $5 bills and I just don't know what to look for. Does anyone know what this means?

thanks

Much confusion regarding this.
Roman (british) m = 1000
Metric k = 1000
Common th = thousand
etc, etc

In this case.. 3.560m - 3.960m refers to millions..

With the serial numbers it would be 3 560 000 - 3 960 000

They're just saving a bit of space by abbreviating it.
