Knowing about your penchant for collecting coins that feature a moose, I was wondering if you are aware of the 1920 Maine Statehood Centennial half dollar (a US commemorative coin)? There's a moose "relaxing" in front of a tree on the coin's obverse! Here's my example: Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.

What a nice coin...thank you, Commems
Is it the Stephen King's Maine with Derry and Bangor? Must have for his fans.
I found something mystically attractive in the 50c coins of different countries like Canada, US, Australia and some others.

For this theme, nothing compares "Bateman's Bull Moose" (imo) and I think, that the silver $20 crafted much better, than $300 Platinum coin.
I'll leave for NuMoose to post the picture....

Here's the newest moose coin, a Bromberg commission. I bought 3 there are my favorite moose coin follow by the 2012 bullion mosse coin. I do have a colorized bullion moose coin, I'll post when I find mine. Here's the 2015, in all his glory, order from shopping channel & get a free art card, signe by the artist. Here goes!! I'm finally getting the hang of using the optimizer from an iPhone. Numoosey I hope you enjoy this image. This moose is for you!! I should probably clarify, first image is taken from the show video, with Bromberg fingers and not mine. The second image is my in hand coin, and not such a pro image lol.

@ SilverDon, CoinsChangeLives and Pocket Change: Thanks for posting your Moose coins! Folks, I've just taken a slew of photos of mine and will be posting them in the near future. In other words as soon as I have time to do it. Please keep your antlers tuned in.

Hi Folks! As promised I'm posting my Moose coin collection. I decided to save the best for last, so bear with me (I like bears too by the way). I think this will take several posts, but I'll see how it goes. So I'll start off with the 2004 Canada Day cartoon-like Moose quarter (already posted above by CoinsChangeLives) along with the postcard that accompanied it. Here's Moosie in his double plastic wrapping. It must be hot in there... Next up is my silver bullion Moose. It looks just like the one posted by SilverDon. Go figure. The next one is especially for commems, jbuck and our American friends. It's a 2 Troy ounce silver medallion with select 24 karat gold plating. It was produced by the Northwest Territorial Mint (strangely located in Auburn, Washington not the Northwest Territories). This was a gift from my wife a few years back. Isn't she cool? It's still available here: https://store.nwtmint.com/product_d...Gold_Select/ Here's a real little guy also from 2004 and another gift from my wife. Did I mention how cool she is? This is purported to be the smallest Moose ever produced by the RCM. It was issued to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the first gold Maple Leaf bullion gold coin in 1979. The mintage was 25,000. I think I will stop for now. Hope you enjoy these coins. To be continued... Brought to you by:

Great coins Moosey, I love the 2 Oz US coin, it has me salivating! Great link too, it gives some interesting moose facts too. Seven ft tall runs 35 mph, it's impressive. Your wife has great tastes in coins!! When I find my color enhanced wildlife bullion version, I will post it. It's my second favorite coin of that series, I have 3 of them. However, I've got box upon boxes of coins piled high, it may be a while. Winters doing a number on my arthritis, and it hard it move boxes around to snoop. I can't wait for my new hip! I enjoy the photos getting posted. It's a nice way to see coins of a theme, otherwise you may never see. I seldom look at US coins. I'm looking forward to more more.
