Interesting Find From Circulation

I had a similar experience not too long ago.

I noticed a large coin in the cash drawer, but the customer in front of me also noticed it. He asked if he could have it, and then exchanged a paper dollar for an IKE.

Today: 1945-P Wartime Nickel (VG), 1960-D Small Date Cent (XF), two
1975-D Cents (BU Red), 2008 Philadelphia Cent (BU - the first 2008
Philly Cent I've noticed here in Denver!), and...
three 2009-D Log Cabin Cents, two BU and one which was down
to a low AU grade (not damaged, just circulation wear).

Every Log Cabin I've found up until now has been BU, so it's a
surprise to see one that's had some circulation wear!

Each of those three Log Cabins I got today were traded to employees
who wanted one and didn't have one yet.

The employee that I traded one of the BU LC Cents that I found today
was surprised to see the low-AU LC Cent.
Quote from him: "Those are $10 a roll on ebay, how could one of those
stay in circulation that long?!"
I said: "That's nothing, I heard that someone in Texas picked up a
Log Cabin Cent off the ground!"

Everything's topsy-turvy when people are trading copper Wheat Cents
for zinc Log Cabin Cents, since after all the 'wheaties' are currently
a lot easier to find in circulation....

"Hey, look, I have a 1926-D Wheat cent! Maybe 'DNA' will trade me for
that 2009-D Log Cabin Cent he just got..."

A friend at work got a roll of pennies at an estate sale and everyone except the ends were all wheaties....he got a great find for $2

I got another 1920 Wheat cent today in change, I just found one 2 weeks ago roll searching, so this is the second one within 3 weeks. (not to mention the 93,450,000 1776-1976 bicentinial qaurters).

Found a 1929-d Lincoln Cent or penny, can't tell.
Got it in change from the gas station today.

Got 2 rolls of String and Sons, 2009-P (Heads showing on all ends) from the Credit Union at the Federal Reserve of Chicago. 3 very deep gouges in the Obverse of one, the other 3 obverses are very spotted. I'm traveling, so I'll wait until I get home to open them.

got a roll of Quarters from my local gas/hardware and auto parts store this morning and the funny thing is I normally dont get quarter rolls but to my surprize I plucked out a 2000 VA proof
