Finally, I got a 2010-D Dime in change today.  Not nearly as high grade as the MS 2008-D that came with it!

cool thanks yeah 1916 didn't have a D mint mark if I recall and no stars under the eagle are only for 1916 and 1917.

I work in a convenience store and you would not believe the stuff people bring in. One day someone brought in a 2004 ASE. (Which I bought for a buck) Another day a lady bought a pack of cigarettes with 5 1921 morgans and 1 1923 peace. I am constantly looking through my drawer for good stuff. It's the only part of my job that keeps me sane. Adam |

I bought a 1989 ASE out of a 7-11 cashier's drawer in 1993. (it's my lucky pocket piece!) Quote:

Then again, if she'd got even melt value for them, she could have bought a carton (and some dinner!)... Last night my wife presented me with my first 2010 Shield Cent from circulation. I know, nothing spectacular, but it made me happy. |

Today: A stunning 2010-D Cent (NO spots on the obverse, one tiny spot on the reverse) and my second 2010-D Dime ( much nicer than the first one I got, this one's at least a true MS65!) And that was my 11¢ change from Target! It is worth noting that I have still not received a 2009-D Dime in my change.... Edited by DNA

Tuesday I got a 1950-s Jefferson in pretty good shape. Last week I got a 1964 quarter. Sure not many of those around in circulation anymore.

You know you're a coin collector when you get these two Nickels in your change...   ...and you're more excited about getting the 2009-D than the War Nickel!  This is my first 2009-D business strike Nickel!  As you may have guessed, that 1943-S is not even close to being the first War Nickel I've found in change, and is also not even close to being the first 1943-S Nickel that I've found in change. That said, all 1943-S and other War Nickels are most welcome guests at the DNA household.  |

Yesterday I was going through a small pile of change and found a 1964 dime, 1946 and 1956 wheaties, 4 pre-1964 nickels, a 1969 Candadian cent and 15 high grade shield cents. I was very excited!

Got another 2009-D Nickel and 2010-D Dime today, so I guess those coins are finally getting out of the Denver Fed Branch! (the 2009-D business strike Dime continues to elude me, at least from being found in actual circulation...  ) |
