I stopped at a supermarket to use the facilities, and checked the coinstar on the way out. There was a 2 eurocent and a 1964 dime in XF sitting on the machine! Report this Post to the Staff

(for those that don't live in Denver, let me state that the odds of getting any current year BU "P" coin in your change in Denver are only slightly better than for Bigfoot parking a spaceship in your backyard!) I was hanging out at the local coin shop and a guy walks in with 2 rolls of Franklin half dollars. He hands them to the dealer to find out what he can sell them for. The dealer asked, "How long have you had them?" The man replies "I got them about 30 minutes ago. A guy at the gas station paid for his gas with them, and I bought them from the clerk". DOH! I got one recently and I finally googled it only to find out that they are from different countries, each country has their own country design for one side of them. Mine was a 2002 are from ITALY!! While I was at the counter I noticed that the teller had a silver half dollar in her coin rack. So I asked for $5 in halves. It turned out that I got two 40% Kennedy halves.
