Made a purchase at the gas station today. My change included Three Cents. These were two of them.     That 1919 is the oldest coin I've ever found. Shame about the condition. |

Yesterday: AU 1952-S Nickel in my change at Starbucks. I thought it was a typical late-90's/early 2000's Nickel until I saw the "S"  Also got a VG 1951-D Nickel from the grocery self-checkout later in the day. |

Well I know this is old posting but I am here to keep it going with my finds. I got a 1941 and a 1941 d jefferson in change over the past 2 weeks.

late last week I found a 1958-D nickel in the till at work which was cool but the very next day I found a 1958 silver dime in the till at work!

In my change today, 1959 and 1959 D Lincoln cents. Even though they're not wheats (so close!), I still like keeping the 59s. Kind of weird though that I got both in the exact same pile of change.

That is a nice find down here, so a really good one for Canada.  no mint mark means Philadelphia mint. Philadelphia minted cents have never carried a mint mark, but the others denominations have carried a P since 1979 ( SBA dollar) or 1980 (the half, quarter, dime, and nickel). Philadelphia also used mint marks during WWII on the 35% silver " War Nickels" from 1942 to 1945. |
