I pulled a 59 quarter and a 44 War Nickel from the drop yesterday. First time in a month I have seen any silver in the drops at work. I have almost $5 in FV I have acquired this way within the last 12 months.

Red bright BU 2009-D LP2 the other day from McD's. At first glance I asked myself "is this a 2012? It's a little too early to be finding those". Then I see the reverse and saw it was LP2. A BU D 2009 cent isn't a big deal to you west-coasters, but I'm in Florida, so 2009 D cents are difficult to come by, in any condition.

I found this in my change the other day. It is by far the oldest bill I've found. 1963 B series.

coindog-

The 63b is the infamous Barr note. Barr was in office about a month, but they printed a half billion notes with his sig. Only five FRB (BEGJL), and Kansas city didn't issue * notes.

This was several years ago and wasn't my find but I was with the person when it happened. I went with my friend to to the bank to cash his pay check and he was payed with 1920's $50 silver certificates...in series...still on the pad...totally un-circulated.
Rest in Peace
