Friday I found a 1942D Jefferson nickel, a 2005P Bison Nickel (my first found in circulation), 1941 Wheat cent and a 1947 Wheat cent all while going through our snack bar fund at work. I also found about $4 in Canadian coins, not a surprize living in Michigan.

Had to comment on the last two posts. I was born in 1942, and am always on the look out for coins with my birth date. So, I thought it interesting that two were found by our members.

Another 1950D Jefferson today. That's the sixth or seventh I've pulled from circ in the last 20 or so years.

A find in pocket change today led to a real bonanza. While walking down Main Street of our little community, I pulled out my change and found a bison nickel. This find turned my attention to coin colecting. Since I was in front of my bank, I decided to go in and see what they might have in the vault. The teller was a former student, and she was happy to go into the vault and see what they had available. She came out with 10 rolls of bison nickels. After I bought those, she promised me that she would call when the Ocean In View nickels came in.

Not a bad day.

Will give most of today's haul to the six grandkids.
Rest in Peace

Went to City Market today and received two JFK Halfs in change. 1991D and 1999D.

Both BU.

Would be nice if this was a trend.

JFK's are among my favorite coin.
