Today: 1946-D Dime and a 1968 Canada Nickel.
The latter came from a self-checkout machine.

In today's change: A stunning BU 1968-D Nickel, blazing white luster, no obvious hits in the fields, and NO STEPS
(well struck otherwise, just a flat area where the steps should be)

I saw a loonie in the till at the taco johns yesterday and asked for it in my change.
Turned out to be a 1989.
Canadian coins are very common here in MN, but dollar coins are hard to come by. I think I have only seen 3 or 4 in the wild.

Well, went through and rolled the change jar today .........

After a year and a half of rolling 5-10 rolls of nickels per month, still missing 2009 P&D , the only open holes in my 1992 to date Jefferson nickels Whitman.

I did however, find this ......... I am thinking F12 ?

Are 2009 nickels really that scarce? I've been sticking every one I find back. I have 7 or 8 of them, which I've found in the last two or three weeks. I don't like the new nickels: I only save these for trade fodder. If anyone really wants them I'll trade for just about anything. PM me.

Been a while since I posted here, the last week has been kind of interesting for me as far as finds go though.

Aside from the usual wheats and Canadian coins, I've managed to pull 8 40% halves (5x '67, 1x '68, 2x '69), a 45-P War Nickel and, and this is the strange one, a 1962 Mexican 1 peso coin, larger than a half dollar but only 10% silver, less silver content than the War Nickel!

I got a 2006 magnetic canadian cent in change from the coffee shop! Made my day! Even if it wasn't the 2006p.

today I get in change a 1998w loonie !
I'm not an expert at all on grades, and since it has circulated, is it considered as a AU/MS-something or still a PL-something ?

I found a 1944-P nickel today. A customer spent it. The customer had a handful of change, and I happily offered to exchange it for bills. I also snagged a 1953-D Wheat penny by offering to take all of a customer's pennies.
