I think (!) I found a 1991 Lincoln Cent with doubled columns, but there's no way to take an image of that with my camera, and since I'm on vacation, I don't have access to scanner at work, so no reference picture for now. (Also, I've seen way too little cents to be confident about those kind of things.)
As it happened before, the coin was passed to my gf in change as 2 Euro cent.

Tonight somebody used a 1974-S proof nickel for the change in their order. I then gave it out as change later in the evening.

Nice find. The proofs are always fun. You should have kept it, but hopefully you passed that thrill onto the next person.

Today I found a dollar bill on the ground in school. Nothing special number or year wise, but it's my first find in awhile that's higher than a quarter. What I don't get about people my age is they have NO regard for the value of money, as some guy saw it on the ground but instead of picking it up, he kicked it to the wall! I immediately grabbed it after that before anyone else could.

I pick up dollars of the floor all the time at school here in Beverly Hills. Ugh.

I know I'm bumping the thread, but what's to say ugh about? It's free money! You guys are right, though. People don't seem to have much regard for money these days. The other week, I was arriving at school, and I saw the strangest thing. Behind the doorstop was a stack of quarters, probably $2 or $3, obviously put there intentionally. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pick it up as I was in the middle of a crowded doorway and I would have blocked everyone's path if I stopped.
On a related note, my family has a small boat that we take around the San Juans sometimes. A couple of months ago, we had to stay in Victoria for a few days because the boat was having some septic issues. My dad had to stay behind and work on it. While I was walking through downtown Victoria on a windy day, I saw a little flash of green out of the corner of my eye, and there was a $20 note (Canadian, of course) blowing up against the curb. Of course I picked it up. Strangest thing is, it was in plain sight, at an intersection with plenty of people nearby, including some homeless people, and nobody bothered to pick it up.

No worry, this is a long running thread. It needs to be bumped.

All right, but when I said 'what's to say ugh about' I was referring to SSK's post.

I have not been here for some time, but I'm back. During that time I found two interesting coins in circulation (in my change to be more exact). First one is a unknown year Indian Head Nickel:

Another one is a 1972 S Dime:
