Out here on the West coast, the 43-S's are almost common... I've found just as many of them the past 5 months as the much more common 43-P.

Today I got a 2011 €2 coin with a design I didn't recognize. I was hoping it was from one of the smaller states, but it turned out to be Finnish.

Hehe :) Finnish coins are also seldom seen in my part of EU. Keep an eye out for Finnish 1 and 2 cents. It's very difficult to find them in circulation.

I don't typically find too much anymore since I dropped out of CRH, but today at work, there were THREE wheaties in the drawer: 1928, 1941, and 1957-D

Well, I'm back in the US. I was going to get dinner last night during my layover in Munich, but the terminal didn't have any restaurants. I ended up getting something in Chicago instead (which was ridiculously expensive), and got four crisp UNC consecutive 2013 $1 notes- G-D block, 09281416-1419.
EDIT: Since the notes are birthday notes, I looked to see if anything important happened on September 28th of 1416-1419, but to no avail.

@Numisma, did you check both the Julian and Gregorian dates for important events?
I know that Gregorian was not in place then, but maybe a conversion would help.

I spotted a Wheat cent in the penny tray at the cafeteria at my university today. The cashier let me have it. 1950-S. |

Haven't found that much lately, although at my bank today, they had 2 Ike dollars which I gladly took and some consecutive 2003A 2 dollar bills. The only reason I mention that is because most consecutive 2s I'm able to get are 2009 or 2013. |
