I lived close to the border while growing up. I went through a lot of Canadian nickels since we had them all the time in our pockets, plus my grandfather had a laundromat business so we went through a lot of nickels each week. He had that business since the late 50s. He and I never found a George V nickel. We were able to complete all the George VI series (starting 1937) and beyond, but never anything before this.
