I found a handful of Canadian nickels in the reject tray of the CoinStar and among them were 1927, 1941, and 1942.

@wrekcitralph - good find - especially for nowadays when penies are being taken from circulation up North.

It amazes me you found a 1927. I lived close to the border while growing up. I went through a lot of Canadian nickels since we had them all the time in our pockets, plus my grandfather had a laundromat business so we went through a lot of nickels each week. He had that business since the late 50s. He and I never found a George V nickel. We were able to complete all the George VI series (starting 1937) and beyond, but never anything before this.

@Earle42, this is only the second George V nickel I have ever found in the wild. The last time was in the early 2000's. It surely made my day!
