Over the last couple of years of collecting I have found many florins, sixpences and shillngs (all NZ pre-decimal)as well as Aussie 5,10 and 20 cent pieces. But alas our coinage has totally changed in size and content so any new finds will be very few and far betweenps I collect Kiwi and American coins and I have a few Australian coins including a 1938 crown.Would that qualify me for the darkside once I've been around a bit longer?

Finally......
Usuaully I just read with envy what other people find in circulation. Today I found a 1936 Canadian dime and a 1974 Kennedy half in my wife's spare change.

Grouse12, I'm sure you would qualify for the darkside.

The date can barely be read if you tilt it the right way......I just can't seem to capture it as a pic.

1976 JFK, BU.

Also, stopped by my bank today and the teller told me that she gets about one silver dollar a month turned in. Says the people who turn them in "just don't want them."

Scoutjim, I've gotten a lot of Nebraska quarters in circulation.

They are one of my favorites.

There was a thread several weeks ago regarding the direction the pioneers were headed in the image.

Two days ago I received a 1936 Buffalo nickel and a 1909 wheat. The 1909 is in xf, and the nickel is in fine. I think, maybe, could be? lol
