Maybe the 94D has gotten tons of wear. When I was looking through rolls of dimes I saw a lot of newer dimes that looked silver and tarnished.

I found a 1/2 Franc in someone's change today, I think it's a 1976 but I forgot to bring it home with me... First half-franc I've ever found! (love the little dancing dude!) Rachel

1982 JFK D, BU.
Not from circulation in that I asked my bank for any half dollars they had. I was given four, and this was the best of the four.

Not exactly in circulation...but, I had my hot little hands (minus my 33 St Gaudens finger) on a nice RB, mostly B 1955 DDO today. $2,000 if anyone is interested - just e-mail me. Sure was nice to hold it though!

I got to hold onto, and look closely at, an Isabella dollar yesterday. I asked what it cost, and then quickly gave it back.

Bon Pour 2 francs, France
Several French coins have turned up here recently. Most of them older.
Got this from a freincd who evidentally got it in circulation.

That's cool Gary! Isn't it a nice feeling to touch and hold! There's also something about "if you have to ask the price...." - me too! Glad that you enjoyed the moment!

My co-worker and I both spotted a silver Kennedy half at the same time in a shipment, so we rock-paper-scissored for it- he won. But later on in the day I was counting someone's change when I found a 1952-D Franklin!! That's only the second Franklin I've ever found in customer change. It's pretty beat-up and scuzzy, but hey... Rachel
