I have had similar finds to what Thingee reprorted. I can't understand how 40-year-old cents can be found in AU and BU condition. But, it sure happens.

I have put some uncirculated '63 and '83 cents in circulation after buying uncirculated rolls and pulling out the 10 best to keep. I got a '64 dime today in change.

I was given a 2002 Aussie 10 cent! The gal that had it was just in Vegas and thinks that she got it there. I gave her a dime for it but, more than likely it had been passed off as a Quarter. Nice find!

Couple of wheat cents today, one is a 1934 that looks like something was chewing on it.

My 10 year old daughter found a rotated reverse lincoln memorial today, blew me away after she pickied up a coin from change that was on the floor and said "dad I think this penny (cent) is rotated"

Good girl I said and asked if I could have it and she said no, it was for her collection.....AWESOME!!!!!!!

1962 Silver Washington quarter! It sounded so strange jingling in my pocket that I knew I had silver before I even looked. It's in Great shape(AU) by the way. Mike

Bump this one up to the first page again... Found a 1957 dime while bagging up the loose coin today. $4750 in coin shipped out today, total weight of about 530 pounds, which is more than four times what I weigh. No wonder I'm tired now.

1976 JFK Half.

BU. Looks like it has never circulated.

Got it from my credit union. Stuck it in my pocket, and didn't even look at it until hours later when I was home.

While going through a bag of about $180 worth of coins tonight I have found, so far, a 1999 Cayman Islands 25 cent piece, BU; and a Canadian nickle, 1995, BU.

OIV Nickles.

Found four in my pocket today, all BU.

These are one of my favorite coins, so happy I came by them.
