I received an 1897 Indian Head cent over the weekend in change from a sandwich shop. Probably AG3/G4 but just good honest wear and no damage.
Rest in Peace

Saturday I found a coin from Ireland? It has "EIRE" on the date (obverse?) side with a picture of a harp. The reverse? has 10P with a picture of what looks to be a leaping salmon.

Just went through 5000 cents. Found 275 wheat cents including 3 AU/UNCs and a 1918. Also pulled a mint 1970-s small date from change few weeks back. Once in a while God sees to it that I find a silver Merc or a War Nickel. Still looking for an '80-P no mintmark dime, '72 double die cent, and of course, an aluminum '74 cent (in my dreams!)

an aluminum '74 cent

yea, but you wouldn't be able to tell anyone about it, or sell it, unless you would like a visit from the secret service... Similar to if you had a '33 St. Gaudens Double Eagle...
