Today I received a 1950 Wheat in circulation. I know its only a heavily circulated wheat, but its nice to find one occasionally.

One of my friends gave me a handful of change to help pay for pizza. There was a 1958D Wheat cent in the change. It's a common date but I was excited to find it in circulation!

When I was picking up a box of nickels at one of my favorite banks last week the teller said "I have something for you". She handed me a 1964d quarter! All she wanted was a quarter for it; I was quite thankful and pleased!

My best find ever from circulation was about five years ago when I went to the bank and got a few rolls of nickels to search through. Two of the rolls only had a nickel on the two ends of the rolls, and the middle was stuffed with UK pound coins from the mid 1980s! I got 20 pounds and 20 cents for four dollars. I just think it is funny that the person who turned in the rolls thought that they were getting a good deal by trying to pass off the pounds as nickels.

I found this month alone 6 double die halves (1967 DDR 1968D DDR 1969D DDR 2 1973D DDR 1974D DDR) 4 double die quarters ( 1992D DDO 1994 DDR 1998 DDO 2000MA DDO) 2 2007 DDR nickels and a 1968S DDO. I found some nice Cuds on nickels and some unusual double stamped errors. Other errors too. The cool thing is that I just started collecting error coins a few months ago. This month was by far the best month for me yet. Other coins I found (10 40% silver halves, 2 Buffalo nickels,a couple WWII nickels(including one 43/2) and 100s of wheaties. One roll alone had 15 wheaties in it and all S mints. I will say that I probably wont have this good of a month again for a long time now. I cant wait till I order more because you never know what the next roll holds.

So far all the years of me searching rolls I only found 1 Indian Head penny 3 V nickels, 1 Mercury dime, 10 silver dimes, 1 silver quarter, and 2 1964 halves. I found about 30 Buffalo nickels and probably 1500 wheaties including a 1909vdb. I found quite a few George VII pennies and 1 nickel. I found 1944 netherlands 25 cent piece. Ive been looking through rolls off and on for about 10 yrs. The last 2 yrs Ive been at it hardcore. Id like to find more older stuff but unfortunately the oldest I found was a 1900 V nickel so far.
