Archraz, Does the nickel have a large P mintmark above Monticello on the reverse of the coin? Because I found a 1942 in my change too but its not silver. -PP

I found TWO wheats in my tip change from work today. Crazy since I usually average like, one wheat every two months now. A 1958 and 1945.

Side note, I brought in some 50 Cent pieces I had from roll searching to give out in change. It was cool.

I found a Wheat cent (1928 in VG condition - nothing special) in the take a penny/leave a penny dish at the local sub shop. It's been awhile since I have found or received a Wheat cent in change since I was happy. I replaced it with a nasty corroded zinc cent. :)

I looked through some nickels today and found a few nickels in excellent condition. I think someone is spending there proof sets. Ive been finding alot of older nickels in excellent condition.
Did they ever make a 1977 Matte proof nickel? I found this nickel and it looks like a matte proof.

Well to me it was interesting.Today I look at a quarter,in my pocket, and it wasnt. It was some 10 pence thing. 1992. I'll save it, but is it worth a quarter? I'm lazy but serious.

1913-V- Yeah I have found a few of those "state pennies" as well. It appears that they are all countersruck 1976 Lincolns. I just wonder who made all of those and why.
