I just won this lot of dimes. Just wondering what the Mercury dimes on the right would grade. Just checking if I got a good deal at about a #1.50 a piece.

I would say 62 if not worn.
Good deal.
2nd one has the most full band of all four.

The 1941 top-right looks to be in the best condition. It has a chance of being MS, the other higher grade Mercs are AU in my opinion.

Looks to be a nice buy with lots of variety.

I think 1944 looks like it's most full band though.

Problem is the seller told me he got packing tape glue on them by directly taping them. That is a real problem to get off and then they will be cleaned ruining the value. Why would someone take high grade coins and them get packing tape on them. The only thing that will get that off is 90% alcohol something I don't like using on coins. I prefer not doing anything to them.

Try acetone. It'll do wonders. Or use other tape to try to remove the tape residue. I've seen a seller pack my Peace dollars with tape and I removed the crud using these methods.

I have tried acetone and it did no good especially with packing tape. Soaking them in 90% alcohol works but I didn't want to bother so the seller issued me a refund. I just don't understand people shipping like this when dime coin wrappers at the bank are free. I just don't want to clean them. If I want to resell some, there is issues with selling coins that are cleaned especially because of a seller's faulty packaging.
