That is how I feel about some of the horror dealers on ebay.
Check out the sellers comments for this florin,321585867140
Enough to make you want to strangle them.

Dirty dirty coins. You can eat off of his hehe. Hand polishing for hours seem obsessive, though.

No, if the seller is actively engaging in out and out fraud as quite a few people who sell coins on ebay are presently doing.

If you look at this sellers' feedback as a seller for the past 30 days none of his other circulated coins were hand polished or otherwise cleaned or tampered with. So is this the manner in which he is going to go forward with, with the coins he is going to list on ebay?

Seller says "hand polished"; that disgusts me.

At least this seller is honest - how many other sellers 'enhance' the appearance of coins with various methods and don't mention it.
Rest in Peace

He should clean his finger nails instead of his coins.

Not if they're destroying coins like this one or knowingly selling counterfeits.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Neale, thank you for alerting us to that minor predator in the ebay jungle.
Minor at the moment, but if they get away with it, they can graduate to major predator.

Medieval, the seller is less than honest. That florin wasn't uncirculated as the seller claims as there are dings visible on the obverse. At best it was AU58 BEFORE it was ruined.

He removed hand polished so now he's being deceitful, only says he doesn't sell filthy coins.

Wow, he likes to use the term "uncirculated" loosely.

Although I don't think it is right to wish harm to anyone, this seller needs some help.

As I do clean junk silver (and not to sell but keep for silver value only) I would say the black from under the finger nails is from cleaning silver with Bi-carb Soda and it takes about 30 seconds.

See results of a coin I sacrificed for the demo. Dirty (normal) left and cleaned on the right

Not too sure what everyone is getting exited about here.
If I had seen this earlier I would have gambled $30 in a heartbeat
