Good day all, I recently purchased an 1858 canada 10 cents. Price was fair I bought it. Upon further looks I noticed some sort repunch over something on the second 8. Wondering if anyone has any opinion is r has seen this type before? Many thanks

I see something , but not enough to conclude anything. It may be tough, but a sharper image is still needed.

There seems to be a lot of die crack activity and deep gouges---around the leaves and in the fields---which might have put metal into the loops of the 8.Need X200 pics.

In the grade, the evidence is inconclusive. PMD is evident on the
S in CENTS, a gauge to the leaf opposite, and I presume additional
bag marks appear elsewhere.
