Can someone tell me what's that Bob of metal next to the mint mark? Does it add value?

My guess is die damage, probably done before the die was hardened.

Not sure if it adds value but it does make it more unique. There is a buyer for everything but personally I would keep it. I enjoy having coins that are more one of a kind..... as long as its not PMD

Nice! It looks like a Die Cud (blob of metal) from a die defect.

Cuds always include the rim. If it is only on the rim then it is a rim Cud. If it goes into the field of the coin then it is a Cud.

I guess it depends who you ask

Some experts in the error-variety hobby insist that for the blob to be called a Cud, the damaged part of the die must include part of the edge of the die. Although this is the purist definition, in common parlance you'll see the term " Cud" used to describe the blob created by any die chip or serious die crack, regardless of its placement on the die or coin.

OR could be a secret Mint Mark made just to make people wonder where and what it really does.
Cuds and such are just minor errors and usually not even noted by many as errors.

"Common parlance" because some are too lazy and stupid to use the language appropriately. If it's on your arm, it isn't a nose, and if it's not on the rim it isn't a Cud.
